Well I really don’t know where the year has gone – and the last few months in particular.
This summer was one of the busiest I can remember; long working hours, business abroad, more involvement in local UKIP all getting in the way of photography.
I just about managed to keep shooting but didn’t manage to update the blog so I’m going to get through these as quick as I can in October to be back on track by the end of the month.
So . . . August . . . seems a long time ago that I was enjoying a few beers on the patio on warm summer evenings
But there was more than one pleasant evening spent and more than one picture taken with my mobile phone included among the 67 pictures that make up the August Gallery.
August was also the month that I took a trip up to London for a look at the art exhibitions. This time I did a little photo-blog of the day, again with my mobile phone and a new (fab) app called Vignette for Android, so there are a stack of faux-Polaroid pictures in the gallery including some neat Abstracts (if you like that sort of thing).
Seems that most of the gallery is in fact mobile phone pictures (an indication that this was about all I had time for), but to prove that I do own a DSLR there are a few street scenes from Trafalgar square and a couple of architectural shots from Bracknell where the Splash of Colour exhibition (that I’m in) was being held. Sadly I was told to stop shooting the building so I only managed two pictures, which was a shame as it was a perfect day for architectural pictures.
The last week of the month and the first week of September were spent travelling – the shots from our family holiday and my business trip to Bahrain are included in the bumper gallery for September that contains no less than 76 shots.
